Opening a Restaurant is a Rollercoaster of Emotions!

After opening our first restaurant in December 2016 the ups and downs of actually opening (let alone the day-to-day running) quickly evaporated from our minds but last month we found ourselves there again opening our second location at Chessington World of Adventures!

The opportunity arose over nine months ago and we just couldn’t miss out on the chance to be the first dedicated meat-free business inside a theme park! Opening the restaurant has taken a lot of hard-work and grit, not only from us but from our fantastic staff at the Birmingham store and also the great team at Chessington World of Adventures themselves. 

Through the hardest work we found many moments to laugh… from when Katie had her head stuck in a bin for over half an hour (really!) to when Jane opened the oven too quickly and nearly knocked herself out! 

That’s what makes the entrepreneurial life so fun and stressful… it really does throw a rollercoaster of emotions (excuse the pun) at you every single day but - we wouldn’t have it any other way and seeing so many happy customers and fantastic reviews already (see below) makes all the hard-work worthwhile.
